Caring for marine & coastal resources is a community affair
Just after 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb, 18, 2012, a group of elementary students from the Ka ‘Umeke Kā‘eo public charter school took stage for the opening ceremonies at the fifth annual Ocean Day Mālama Kanaloa Festival. The marine and coastal awareness event was hosted by UH Hilo’s Pacific Aquaculture and Coastal Resource Center located in the community of Keaukaha in Hilo.
National event influences regioonal peace and harmony gathering on the Big Island

Is campus safety in question?
