With the tuition hike this academic year, we find it germane to remind the UH Hilo and HawCC community what might help make the payments feel more worthwhile. To that end, we share our list of UH Hilo's underused and overlooked locales. We hope you will explore what they have to offer over the coming year.

Imua Fitness classes can help you reach your fitness goals with a spectrum of fun and energetic classes such as Yoga, Circuit training, Step Aerobics and Pilates. Classes are free with membership and you are encouraged to change up your workout and try a new class anytime. For a full list of classes available and times, please visit the Student Life Center.

The FLOW, presented to you by Campus Center, is a great way to de-stress and relax with other students and faculty during the middle of the school week. Hosted on the first and third Wednesday of every month, the FLOW

is a socially entertaining event where many gather to enjoy delicious affordable food, live entertainment, and wonderful prize giveaways. You can also catch up with the various student organizations and clubs that will be present to answer questions and promote their programs. For more information, contact: campusct@hawaii.edu.

Kilohana: The academic success center, located on the lower level of the Mo‘okini Library, provides students with free tutoring for specific subjects throughout the academic school year. All tutors are UH Hilo students carefully selected for their academic achievement and dedication to helping others succeed. The center offers tutoring for a wide range of subject including Astronomy/physics, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Geography, Marine Science, Math, and Writing. The Women's Center aims to provide safe access to educational and work experiences on campus. The staff works hard to address issues relating to gender quality, leadership, safety and the empowerment of women through educational programming, direct services and resources, leadership, and opportunities. Please take the time to learn about what the Women's Center has to offer by visiting them in Campus Center room 312.

Da Lava Tube is one of the best places on campus for students to unwind and socialize with their friends and classmates who share similar interests. Located in the heart of UH Hilo

The Outdoor Adventure program gives students opportunities to explore and appreciate the natural beauty of the Big Island through various outdoor activities and programs. Students meet and interact with new people as they set out on a wide range of trips, including kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, and mountain biking. They also head out on excursions to visit Hawai‘i's breathtaking sites such as Green Sands beach, Mauna Kea, Volcanoes National Park, and waterfalls.
