Dominance is not a word used in a simple context. The word provokes visions of soldiers, ninjas, warriors or silent assassins, each demonstrating their ability to execute responsibilities with great precision and poise. San Bernardino to Hilo
Most basketball players have a pregame ritual. Dwayne Wade and Vince Carter do pulls ups on the polyester nets. Kevin Garnett and LeBron James play with powder. Dwight Howard does a turnaround fade away at the scorer’s table and, of course, Michael Jordan wore his North Carolina shorts under his Chicago Bulls uniform.
On a 3rd and three play from the Patriots' 11-yard line, Eli Manning hit wide receiver Victor Cruz for first down yardage, but Patriots' cornerback Sterling Moore stripped Cruz of the football, which New England recovered. Sports fascinate the masses because of the competition. One can never say it enough. If winning didn't matter, they wouldn't keep track of the score, but there are certain battles in which both teams exert equal effort. Both teams deserve to win, but neither deserves to lose.
Men Look to Build Chemistry Before the Season
For the third week of conditioning, UH Hilo's men's basketball team looks great. Though the Vulcan's only have five returning seniors, there are numerous amounts of new players that plan to make positive contributions this season. The Vulcans will have to find a way to work the new players into their system.
